White Chocolate Chip Cookies
makes about 3½ dozen
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened.
- 1 cup packed brown sugar.
- 1½ cup sugar.
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract.
- 2 eggs.
- 3 cups unsifted flour.
- ½ teaspoon baking soda.
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 11 oz. package Ghiradelli Classic White Baking Chips.
- 1½ cups chopped Macadamia nuts (optional).
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugars
until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time and
beat well. Blend in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir
in white chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto
ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
